At Benenden we are passionate about education in its broadest sense. We greatly value the close community within which we live and work, enhanced by the very fact that we are a full boarding school. Motivational teaching through a dynamic and challenging curriculum, together with an extensive and imaginative co-curricular programme, offers every opportunity for the girls to learn, develop interests and, very importantly, have a great deal of fun! Alongside this we seek to provide the girls with an appreciation of the world in which we live. This is a world which is getting smaller, where our daughters are likely to work outside the UK at some stage in their careers and where most will be among the next generation of leaders. So, as we prepare the girls for their futures, it is important to equip them with the skills to work effectively with others, lead with confidence, understand themselves and manage a healthy work-life balance. Crucially, we work with every girl to discover and nurture the passion that will drive whatever path she might want to follow. We will support her in achieving more than she would have thought possible when she first entered the School and by that instil within her the self-belief that she can embrace her future with confidence.
