Course Description

This MSc brings together two key areas that have to be managed and regulated by business. The modules taught cover both health & safety and environment together with a range of skills that can be utilised in both areas. Modules covered include: health & safety, risk assessment, management systems, pollution monitoring & control, environmental impact assessment, life cycle analysis and environmental reporting. The taught section of the MSc leads to graduate status with IOSH. The MSc is taught by members of academic staff who are active in both consultancy and research areas and staff from INTEGRA, a University consultancy that is recognised nationally and internationally for deivery of accredited courses. Research is carried out in the areas of: environmental reporting, life-cycle analysis, air pollution and its effects on health, contaminated land, perception of environmental issues, ecology and health and safety.
