DIVISION OF EPIDEMIOLOGY, PUBLIC HEALTH & PRIMARY CARE We are pleased to be able to offer two taught Masters courses in Masters in Public Health and MSc in Modern Epidemiology and seek highly motivated applicants with a degree in a relevant discipline. MASTER OF PUBLIC HEALTH (MPH) The Master of Public Health (MPH) programme at Imperial College is offered by the Division of Epidemiology, Public Health and Primary Care in collaboration with Imperial Business School. The MPH aims to provide cutting edge knowledge and skills base for both non-medical and medically qualified students. Imperial College is one of the world?s leading research universities and the MPH offers an excellent grounding in research methods for those considering undertaking a PhD in a public health or health services research related field. Students will have the opportunity to learn public health skills from eminent academics many are leaders in the fields of epidemiology and statistics. The MPH is very well-suited to applicants who are interested in developing and improving their quantitative analytical skills. The course also offers high quality public health management training at Imperial Business School. Course lecturers in the Faculty of Medicine include practitioners with experience in developing, managing and implementing public health interventions and change in public health. The MPH is a good preparation for students wishing to take the MFPH Part A examination.
