Course Description

The European Union profoundly shapes the way politics and democracy work in Europe and is an influential actor on the global stage. It is a fascinating political system, whose complex nature generates passions and controversies and is at the forefront of today?s political debates. The European Governance programme is designed to provide an advanced understanding of the EU to those wishing to deepen their knowledge and to prepare for a career in European affairs. In addition to the Department?s vast pool of expertise on European politics and the presence of the Centre for Federal Studies, a leading research centre on multi-level political systems, this version of the European Governance programme offers you the unique opportunity to spend a second year at a leading institution in mainland Europe and earn a second Master?s degree.
