Course Description

This LLM stimulates a critical awareness and features a particular focus on topics that are perceived to be controversial or in a state of evolution. Students develop a sound knowledge and systematic understanding of the institutional structures, key principles of law and policy and the contexts in which international law operates. This is gained through studying the theoretical, social, political and scientific perspectives which underlie the substantive areas of law, as well as the practical situations in which international environmental law operates. Graduates will gain knowledge and expertise required to pursue a professional or academic career in this developing discipline.

 

Entry Requirements

A first or good second class honours degree in law or a related subject. Kent Law School (KLS) may also take account of relevant work experience when considering applications.
