Part 1 of the MA requires 120 credits. There is one compulsory module on research methodologies (20 cr), two compulsory Greek or Latin language modules at an appropriate level (2 x 10 cr), and a choice of four specialised modules (4 x 20 cr). On successful completion of Part 1 and student can proceed to Part 2, the 60 credit dissertation. N.B. Not all modules will be offered in every year. Entry Requirements

The typical entry requirement is a first degree in Ancient History, Classical Civilisation, Classics or a relevant discipline. Overseas students are expected to possess an IELTS score of 6.5.
